Named after his album, which broke the record for the most streamed debut Country album of all time, tickets for “Religiously: The Tour” go on pre-sale this Wednesday. 35 years later and STILL goes hard. On June 12th, 1988, Randy Travis was sitting at No. 1 on the U.S. Country charts with “I Told You So,” from his second studio album, Always & Forever.” Written by Travis alone, the story behind the song surrounds itself with a hypothetical question, asking how his woman would react if he said he still loved her and wanted her to come home. In 2007, Carrie Underwood covered the song and absolutely blew it out of the park because… I mean, what else would you expect from Carrie Underwood? The two later recorded…
What a time to be alive. Growing up, I had tons of Walmart and magazine posters underneath Christmas lights on the cheap walls of my double-wide bedroom. From Brooks & Dunn and Eminem, to Three Doors Down and Good Charlotte. But the one I held most dear was none other than Avril Lavigne. Sure, my music taste has changed drastically since I was a kid but old Avril Lavigne never, and I mean NEVER, gets old. So seeing Miranda Lambert, one of the best Country music acts of our lifetime, bring out Avril Lavigne, who was just 17 years old…
Zach Bryan’s “American Heartbreak” album, which was released just over one year ago, has now sold over one million units, earning himself a platinum certification from the RIAA. On top of that, Bryan’s massive hit and current single at Country radio, “Something In The Orange,” was also officially certified a massive 4X platinum. Congrats on the continued success, Zach.

Written by Stephony Smith, It’s Your Love became the first duet by a married couple to top the Country chart since the the inception of Broadcast Data Systems in 1990 and only Kane and Katelyn Brown have done it since with their song, “Thank God.” The song went on to spend six weeks at the No. 1 spot and is still, in my opinion, one of the best duets to ever exist in Country music. Being released as…
Country music’s biggest star is officially “back.” After taking to Instagram earlier to share a photo of him on a boat with his good buddy Eric Church, Morgan Wallen also shared a story that read; “Also, the doc cleared me to talk and sing.. we back.” On May 9th, Morgan announced he had re-injured his vocal chords after performing in Florida and was ordered to go on six weeks of vocal rest by his doctors, forcing him to reschedule all tour dates in that time frame. Since most shows are already re-scheduled, I would imagine Morgan is still going to…
