Where does the time fly. Back before the Texas rocker had any sort of notoriety in “Country” music, you could catch him in a tight Hollister shirt, camo hat, with a smooth, beard-less, baby face, covering songs from Jason Aldean. Well, at least one anyway. It’s been 13 years since this video of Koe covering one of Jason Aldean’s most underrated single’s, “The Truth,” was posted to Youtube. We’ve shared clips of it to our twitter account before, and while this isn’t the greatest quality cover, it’s still pretty damn cool to gain a very small glimpse of some of…

You love to see it. Back in October, Chris Stapleton and Tyler Childers shared the stage together at a benefit concert in Lexington, Kentucky and performed Childers’ 2017 song “Follow You To Virgie.” While there were many other cool collaboration performances, such as Dwight Yokam and Stapleton’s performance of “Miner’s Pray,” I’m not sure that any of them came close to touching “Follow You To Virgie.” The sold-out concert raised over 2.5 million dollars for flood victims, and on top of raising an incredible amount of money, just gave us a million reasons as to why we need to start…

One helluva duet this should be. During an interview with Cody Alan from a televised CMT Awards nominee special, Cody Johnson casually revealed he and Carrie Underwood just recorded a song for his upcoming album. There’s not too many vocalists in Country music better than Cody and Carrie (those two names sound ’bout smooth as butter together, amirite) so one can only set their expectations high and even though there’s no teaser of the collaboration, I’d put my money on not being disappointed. Getting to know her, she is such a pro, and everybody that she surrounds herself with are…

Keepin’ ’em comin’. Just days after recently paying tribute to Lynyrd Skynyrd on the CMT Awards after the death of guitar player and last original member, Gary Rossington, Cody Johnson is back with another cover of the bands 1974 hit, “The Ballad Of Curtis Loew.” Covering songs and absolutely blowing them out of the park is nothing new for Cody Johnson. Just refer back to his “You Look So Good In Love” cover from George Strait, as well as the Dixie Chicks’ “Travelin’ Soldier” cover video that has racked up more than 16 million views on Youtube alone. The Texas…

It never hurts to see a little representation from the Lone Star State in the nominations for any award show. It’s even better when the artist actually takes home the title. Tonight, Cody Johnson did just that. Johnson was nominated for three awards tonight. They included: Video of the Year, Male Video of the Year (both for his music video of Human), and CMT Performance of the Year of ‘Til You Can’t at the 2022 CMT Music Awards. The track was released back in 2021 as the lead single off his eighth studio album entitled Human: The Double Album. #COJONation,…

Well-deserved. There’s a lot to dislike about these awards shows nowadays (Country, specifically) but there’s always a few decent highlights and a few moments where trophies find their rightful owners and tonight was no different. Up for two awards, Megan Moroney officially won her first ever CMT Award for Breakthrough Female Video Of The Year for her debut single, “Tennessee Orange.” “Thank you to my fans. I wouldn’t be up here if it wasn’t for y’all. Thank you to the incredible video team at Columbia for putting this together the day after Christmas. And thank you to the director, Jason…
