“If I can stand up to someone in power, you can stand up to the bum from your hometown.”
After a very public breakup back in October, things between Zach Bryan and Brianna Chickenfry have only gotten messier.
This past Tuesday night, fellow BFFs host and Barstool founder, Dave Portnoy, teamed up with Josh Richards to release a diss track towards the “Something in the Orange” singer. Although the video and song have been removed for copyright claims from Warner Music, it hasn’t stopped the video from making its rounds on TikTok and other social media platforms.
After it was announced that Brianna would be telling her side of the story on an all-new episode of the BFFs podcast, Zach Bryan announced new music was on the way, posting this to his Instagram story:
“Worlds been a bit heavy lately, new music tonight”
Zach then dropped “This World’s A Giant,” right before taking to IG yet again with news that even more new music was on the way, prompting him to drop “High Road,” at the same exact time his ex, Bri’s, podcast episode dropped.
Despite attempting to draw attention away from the podcast, Bri revealed that Bryan offered her a monstrous $12 million NDA to not speak about the relationship. The NDA apparently ranged from $10-12 million, a house and a New York apartment, among other things.
“They started low, then they went up to ten million, then they went up to twelve million, then they wanted to give me a house, then they wanted to give me a New York apartment, then they wanted to do all these things,” LaPaglia said.
In her eyes, Bryan was attempting to control her even more, “That was his final shot at still controlling me and controlling my life with that money and with him being able to walk away like, I did a good thing. You know, I gave her all this money, who cares about everything I did?”
“The second we broke up, the second he posts that text, I said, ‘F*ck you.’ I don’t want your money. I don’t want a settlement. I don’t know who you think I am, but that’s not me.”
Nearly two hours after the podcast dropped, Bri took to Instagram to thank everyone who has supported her, and admittedly revealed that she is still taking time to heal:
I knew I was making the right decision. And I believe not going all out and not telling everything was the right decision too. You get the picture. Your messages have made me sob. I can’t believe how many women and men have experienced the same abuse. You have me, I’ll be a voice for you all always.
If I can stand up to someone in power you can stand up to the bum from your hometown. This is all two weeks out so I’m still processing everything I went through. I’ll continue to process and heal with you all!
Flove you I you I love you I love you.“
