Parker McCollum continues the hype train for his upcoming album, Never Enough.
Fresh off of a performance on Jimmy Fallon, McCollum took to Twitter this evening to announce a surprise single in anticipation of his upcoming record, slated for a May 12th release. Flash forward a few hours, and it’s now available for streaming everywhere.
McCollum played an acoustic version of the song on an Instagram Live back on December 8th. For fans of the Pretty Heart singer, they have been anticipating the track for quite a while now.
Tails I Lose is the fifth and presumed final single off the album, following in the footsteps of pre-released tracks, such as fan-favorite, Stoned, as well as Handle on You, Speed, and I Ain’t Going Nowhere.
McCollum takes the listener on a heartbroken journey while sitting at a bar, using the theme of change and quarters, and it’s damn good.
“Bartender hands me my change, we oughta be done playing games; but I aint and you are.”
