It’s been a great year for Wallen so far…
Just yesterday, Morgan Wallen’s “Last Night” surpassed Miley Cyrus’ “Flowers” to become the #1 best selling song of 2023 so far.
On top of that, Morgan Wallen’s “One Thing At A Time” spent its fourteenth week at No. 1 on the U.S. Albums chart to make the 36-song record the longest running No. 1 of the 2020’s, all-genre.
Today, Morgan also received five new RIAA certifications for five songs from his most recent album, “One Thing At A Time.”
Days That End In Why, Sunrise and ‘98 Braves all received Gold certs, meaning they’ve sold at least 500,000 units each. Thinkin’ Bout Me has sold a million, while “You Proof” has now sold over 4 million units, earning itself a 4X platinum certification from the Recording Industry Association of America.
With his popularity and the fact there’s almost 20 songs too many for a typical standard album, I imagine he’ll be receiving a lot more soon…
