Late last night, Zach Bryan took to social media to share clips of three new songs he’s been workin’ on.
Along with the trio of slides and announcement of special collaborations, Bryan had this to say:
“Locked myself in a studio all week, wrote myself through a notebook, walked around with people I love in the city then went campin, felt restful and hopeful, thankful for breathing no matter the day, just grateful. thank you to [Bon Iver] and [Noah Kahan].”
The collaboration with Noah Kahan shouldn’t come as a surprise, as Zach shared a photo on Twitter just four days ago of Noah holding his guitar, seemingly in the studio together.
In addition to the two collaboration teasers, Bryan also shared a new solo song. No official titles or release dates have been announced, but in the caption of the new solo track, he writes: “A pool stick I was gifted from him.”
To a lot of folks, it would be a complete shock to see an artist already teasing new music not even a month after an album release, but this is typical Zach Bryan fashion. In fact, he made the promise to release new music before the album even dropped, saying this:
“I wanted this entire record to be self-produced. Releasing Deep Satin (a song my friend Eddie produced) and a few more songs as the months are to come. I won’t keep anyone waiting I promise.”
As soon as any new music from ZB drops, the Chord will letchya know.
