It’s been a great year for Wallen so far… Just yesterday, Morgan Wallen’s “Last Night” surpassed Miley Cyrus’ “Flowers” to become the #1 best selling song of 2023 so far. On top of that, Morgan Wallen’s “One Thing At A Time” spent its fourteenth week at No. 1 on the U.S. Albums chart to make the 36-song record the longest running No. 1 of the 2020’s, all-genre. Today, Morgan also received five new RIAA certifications for five songs from his most recent album, “One Thing At A Time.” Days That End In Why, Sunrise and ’98 Braves all received Gold certs, meaning they’ve sold…

Absolutely killing it. Morgan Wallen is not just thee biggest artist in Country music, he’s one of the biggest artists in the world right now and continues to dominate the charts. “Last Night,” one of the more poppier (yet, catchy as hell) songs from Wallen, extends its run to 13 weeks at No. 1 on Billboard’s Hot 100 chart, making it one of only fourteen songs to have ever led the chart for at least that long. On top of that, Morgan Wallen’s “One Thing At A Time” spent its fourteenth week at No. 1 on the U.S. Albums chart to make…
I’ve been hoping (and expecting) for this to happen… Back in 1988, Tracy Chapman released her debut single, “Fast Car.” To this day, it’s been a massive and nostalgic hit, bringing in listeners of all genres, including Country superstar Luke Combs. Unless you’ve been living under a rock (and even then you’d probably still know it) Luke Combs released his cover of Fast Car from his latest album, “Gettin’ Old” and it just became the No. 1 Country song on Billboard’s Airplay chart in only 11 weeks. Just a few days ago, Tracy Chapman posted a video clip to her…
What a massive single. On paper, Luke Combs’ cover of Tracy Chapman’s “Fast Car” just may be the biggest single of his career to date. Tracy Chapman released the original back in 1988 and her song (which has been one of my favorites since the first time I heard it 12 years ago) only peaked at No. 6. As of today, Luke Combs tied Morgan Wallen’s “Last Night” with only taking 11 charting weeks to hit the No. 1 spot on Billboard’s Country Airplay chart. There’s a lot of politics from the labels that goes into earning number 1 songs…
Right on time for Fourth of July weekend. Recorded from Super Bowl LVII back in February, Chris Stapleton had one of, if not thee, most talked about National anthem performances from Super Bowl history. Chris Stapleton doing what Chris Stapleton does.#SuperBowl @ChrisStapleton pic.twitter.com/s1jFjyS4QW— Country Chord (@CountryChord) February 13, 2023 At a time where the commercials aren’t as funny and there’s only one or two halftime performing acts nowadays, leave it to Chris Stapleton to absolutely NAIL it and leave grown men cry on television. The cool thing here is that Chris didn’t record it. He released the live, raw version…
We NEED it. Zach Bryan has been giving fans updates on the new album for quite sometime and today, he shared a little more info on the project to his Instagram account. Noting it was one of the “most challenging and honest things” he’s ever done, Zach thanked his fans and shared he “finally” produced his own album. While there’s still no official release date, I imagine it’s around the corner. Back in April, Zach responded to a fan’s tweet saying that there will only be 11 songs (thank God) on the upcoming album, adding that “I’m in my quality…
