Takin’ y’all back in time to 2010. “My Kinda Party,” Jason Aldean’s fourth studio album and arguably his biggest to date, was a MASSIVE album with five singles that really solidified him as the biggest Country artist in the world at that moment. I personally remember hoppin’ in my car after a long shift at the Food Lion, taking my shirt off because it was 90 degrees and I had no A/C, just to turn on “Dirt Road Anthem,” or “Texas Was You” and go cruisin’ to a buddies house to drink some good ‘ol underage beers. Ahh, life was…

Done did it again, but bigger. Yesterday, Morgan Wallen released his massive 36 song album, “One Thing At a Time,” and the internet has been going crazy. Overall, it seems the reception by his fans have been overwhelmingly positive. But when you are thee biggest thing in Country music right now, critics are, well..gonna critic. It also has its pros and cons that the record is so long. If you’re a huge fan of his, then you were probably ecstatic. If you are on the fence about Morgan Wallen, it can be tiring and exhausting hearing the same voice and…
DAMN good. With all of the new music released today (cough – Morgan Wallen – cough) it’s easy to get wrapped up in, gee..I don’t know, 36 new other songs, but Pecos & the boys just released their first single since signing with Warner records and it’s my favorite release today, by far. Frontman Pecos Hurley recently sat down for an Instagram live interview with Country Chord at the Hawthorne in St. Louis. When asked about the reoccurring theme of staying up until the early morning hours featured in their massive hit “This Damn Song” and now on “5 A.M.,”…
Unless you’ve been living under a fucking rock, you’re already aware that The Turnpike Troubadours broke the internet last year with the news that they were finally getting back together. Over three years ago, the band went on a “hiatus” in May of 2019 but as of late, they’ve been back on the main stage, making fans and ticket scalpers happy as fuck. While we’re all waiting for Cross Canadian Ragweed to do the same, we’ll take the third best option…a Turnpike tribute from Flatland Cavalry. Covering “Empty As A Drum,” off of Turnpike’s 2012 album Goodbye Normal Street, the…
Always good for the fans to get a little extra than they paid for. Last night, Carrie Underwood took her Denim & Rhinestones Tour to the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville and surprised the crowd by bringing out Jason Aldean to perform their recent No. 1 duet, “If I Didn’t Love You.” I haven’t been personally but I’ve seen a ton of footage from this tour and Carrie should undoubtably be nominated for Entertainer Of The Year at Country music’s award shows coming up, as she’s been killing it. Check out the video a fan uploaded, below. View this post on…
It’s only March and HARDY is already having himself one helluva year. Not only did HARDY recently release his half-country, half-rock album “The Mockingbird & THE CROW,” he also just teamed up with Apple music to put out two new versions of “Wait In The Truck” and “A Rock,” with live performance videos as well. On top of that, today he just earned two new RIAA gold certifications for his songs “Unapologetically Country As Hell” and the rockin’ “Boots,” which means both have pushed 500,000 units. There’s a ton more RIAA certifications heading his way VERY soon.
