Doing The King justice… First things first, no one outdoes George Strait, especially when it comes to his own music. However, there’s a few artists that come to mind who have phenomenal Strait covers. Cody Johnson might have the best one with “You Look So Good In Love,” but Jon Pardi has a couple pretty solid covers as well. Now, this is just an acoustic performance from when Jon Pardi stopped by the Bobby Bones show back in 2017 so it’s not a studio cover or Pardi’s best vocal attempt. With that said, I could see a damn good rendition…

Takin’ y’all back in time. The year is 1985 and Alan Jackson, who apparently went by just “Al” back then, makes his first ever Television appearance on the show most of you probably have never heard of, “You Can Be A Star.” The show had many contestants but strangely enough, Alan Jackson wasn’t one of them. Alan worked for the network and got to sing George Jones hit song “He Stopped Loving Her Today” for a live audience as the show went into commercials. Keith Steal, who was a judge for the singing competition, heard Alan sing for the very…

If you know, you know. Today isn’t just any ol’ regular day, it’s a day where country and rock fans, alcoholics and pot-heads, taco-bell lovers, people of Texas and beyond, and well…all of us on social media, come together to celebrate the drunken actions made by Koe Wetzel on this date 8 years ago. After getting arrested for public intoxication in Stephenville, Texas, where he found himself cozied up in a jail cell for a couple days, the Texas rocker was able to put the finishing touches on what would become one of his most popular songs to date, “February…
American Idol is BACK. Only one episode down and American Idol is already showcasing some serious talent for this season. Last night, 18-year old Colin Stough from Gateman, Mississippi, performed “Simple Man” for the judges and blew it out of the park. Opening up about how his dad chose “alcohol and drugs” over his family, he expressed his love for his mom and admitted she was the one who signed him up. After finishing his audition, Luke Bryan tells his fellow judges “That’s what American Idol is about right there.” We’ll see small town boy Colin Stough in Hollywood.
Two of the biggest in the game right now. About five years ago, Morgan Wallen released his debut album, “If I know Me,” and exploded on to the scene with hits such as “Chasin’ You” and “Up Down” featuring Florida Georgia Line. His massive single, “Whiskey Glasses,” was also the most played Country song of 2019. Aside from the singles, If I know Me didn’t really have many “filler” tracks. Almost all of them are beloved and recognizable, including the one Luke Combs posted a cover video of, “The Way I Talk.” If you remember the vine days, Luke Combs…
