Didn’t see this one coming. Or did I?
Back in August, Bailey Zimmerman shared a photo of him and the Jonas Brothers together to his Instagram account, with the caption “bucket list night.”
Fast forward to just three days ago and the band collaborated on an Instagram post with Bailey that featured red solo cups with stickers of all four names on them. Bailey also commented, “This things gonna BANG,” adding more fuel to the fire.
This morning, the rumors were confirmed true when a video was posted to Bailey’s social media accounts, announcing “Strong Enough,” to drop on November 10th.
During a recent interview with Audacy’s Katie Neal, Zimmerman gave some insight as to what it was like meeting the three brothers:
“I would say we’re kind of like friends. I’m like, ‘Dang dude, these guys are sick.’ They’re like really chill and kicking it. And they treated me so good when we came to the show like, ‘Dude, you guys are the bomb man.’ And then the show is like unbelievable.”
While I gotta admit, this seems like a weird and random collaboration, crazier things have happened over the last couple of years. Plus, it’s not the first time we’ve seen a boy band dip their toes in country music. Just think back to Florida Georgia Line’s 2016 collaboration with Backstreet Boys on “God, Your Mama, And Me.“
You can preserve the new track from the link in Bailey’s bio and listen to the teaser of the new song, below.
