Rackin’ up even more.
As of October 20th, “Dawns” by Zach Bryan and Maggie Rogers has officially been certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America.
The RIAA gives out certifications to artists based on the number of albums and singles units sold through retail and other ancillary markets. Based on the massive popularity Zach Bryan has garnered over the past few years, along with the huge streaming numbers from his recent self-titled album and 5-track EP, “Boys Of Faith,” it’s really not a shock at this point to see Bryan continuing to earn these sorts of accolades from previous releases.
When an artist receives a platinum certification, it means the single or album has sold at least one million units since its release.
Zach also received 12 other gold/platinum certifications from the RIAA just ten days ago, with Something In The Orange becoming certified a massive 6x platinum. It’s worthy to note that Dawns was also included in that list, earning a gold cert with over 500,000 units sold at that time.
