Celebrities, they’re just like us, clumsiness and all.
On Friday night (Nov. 8), “you look like you love me” singer Ella Langley “fell down for the first time in [her] career” while performing at John T. Floore Country Store in Helotes, Texas, ending her hungover tour with a bang (no pun intended).
Reflecting on the final show of her hungover tour in an Instagram post, Langley wrote, “the very last show of the hungover tour… thank you for selling out every single one of these shows & helotes, thank you for making last night one to remember.”
What she failed to mention was the terrible tumble that she took that fateful night — where she clutched onto her guitarist, Ben Flanders, taking him down too — taking to TikTok to tell the story instead. In the post, Langley explained that she and Flanders were seeking a video of the incident as well.
The Alabama native explained in said TikTok video, “Last night, I fell down for the first time in my career, and I also brought my guitar player down with me, because I could not just fall down by myself. So, if you have a video of that, please, we wanna see it. Let me see it. I wanna see it.”
Fortunately, the video was shared via @ellalangleyarchive on TikTok, resulting in an influx of comments from fans. Said fans could not contain their laughter, simultaneously supporting the country superstar through this oh-so embarrassing moment:
“The main thing is you got back up girl! You are amazing, Ella Langley! Every celebrity has had something happen onstage at one point. Keep on going like nothing ever happened.”
“Glad you’re ok!! Ya know, stuff’s gonna happen… get up, laugh about it, and keep on rollin’ lol”
“Oh no!! Still a queen!! Those bangs still look fabulous!!”
With Langley being in the early stages of a soon-to-be illustrious career, we have a feeling that this was the first fall of many. Hopefully Flanders stays out of the line of fire the next time around…
