Despite being global sensations, country superstars always have time to do a good deed, as exemplified in an Instagram reel shared by Samuel Weidenhofer today (Oct. 10).
In said reel, Weidenhofer runs into a family on the side of the street, making small talk with them and learning a bit about their upbringing. According to the mother, her son Wyatt has battled cancer since he was three years old, fighting the disease for two and a half years and finally finishing treatment just four weeks before meeting Weidenhofer.
In the conversation, Weidenhofer informed the family that he was on the way to a Kip Moore concert, causing the child’s ears to perk up. Seemingly a fan of the country singer, he then invites Wyatt and his family to the concert — via an invitation strapped to a remote-controlled car, of course — with the reel capturing the heartwarming moment from start to finish.
“Wyatt’s excitement is the cutest thing ever,” the caption read, accompanying a video of the entire interaction, all the way to the concert. At the end of the video, Wyatt is seen meeting the country superstar himself, then sitting on father’s lap as Moore puts on a personal, acoustic performance of his smash hit “Somethin’ ‘Bout a Truck.”
Naturally, the comments could not help but praise how adorable the entire interaction was:
“Wyatt is so adorable! I loved how excited he got when he knew that he was going to the concert! 😍”
“So adorable… he’s precious 😍”
Others took a different approach, praising Moore for taking the time out of his day to create a special moment for Wyatt and his family:
“Amazing ❤️ Glad to see artists making time.”
“@kipmooremusic is a genuinely good human being.”
