When Florida Georgia Line split in 2022 — with Tyler Hubbard and Brian Kelley going their separate ways, seemingly not on good terms — those who love cracking open a cold one could not help but wonder what would happen with their joint bar located off of Broadway Street in Nashville, Tennessee, FGL House. Yesterday (May 6), it was announced via Nashville Business Journal that CMA Entertainer of the Year Lainey Wilson would take its place, opening a bar and honky tonk of her own in the near future.
Just hours after it was announced that Wilson would be partnering with TC Restaurant Group — the company behind other bars and honky tonks in Music City like Luke’s 32 Bridge, Jason Aldean’s Kitchen + Rooftop Bar, Miranda Lambert’s Casa Rosa, Morgan Wallen’s This Bar and more — to replace Florida Georgia Line’s establishment, the “Watermelon Moonshine” singer finally spoke out about this new endeavor of hers via social media, announcing the name of the bar, Bell Bottoms Up, and sharing a reel that got each and every one of her 2.4M Instagram followers excited.
I’ve always wanted to create a destination for all my fans to visit and create new memories at, in the heart of country music city. I can’t wait for all my Wild Horses to get to experience my home away from home. #BellBottomsUp“
According to TC Restaurant Group themselves, “the new three-story entertainment destination located at 120 Third Avenue South will bring Wilson’s signature flair” as the building’s 27,000 square feet will consist of two stages, four bars and a mezzanine floor with a lounge bar that overlooks the stage and dining area below.
In addition to this, the rooftop will have a 70s western aesthetic, including (but not limited to) frozen drinks, disco-inspired decorations, a dance floor and beyond. It is safe to say that attendees will feel like they are in the heart of the Bayou, with elements of Wilson’s home state, Louisiana, featured throughout the establishment in more ways than just frozen drinks…
Bell Bottoms Up’s food will transport eaters straight to New Orleans, with its Cajun-inspired menu including Wilson’s favorite salads, crawfish, shrimp boils and boudin, as well as a mixologist-crafted cocktail menu that adds some western charm to the oh-so southern menu. From whiskey to experiential group drinks, we cannot wait to give these beverages a try on a hot summer day!
Bell Bottoms Up will open this summer, but for all of the updates, Lainey Wilson fans can follow along via Instagram: @bellsbottomsupbar.
