Growing up, I had tons of Walmart and magazine posters underneath Christmas lights on the cheap walls of my double-wide bedroom. From Brooks & Dunn and Eminem, to Three Doors Down and Good Charlotte. But the one I held most dear was none other than Avril Lavigne.
Sure, my music taste has changed drastically since I was a kid but old Avril Lavigne never, and I mean NEVER, gets old.
So seeing Miranda Lambert, one of the best Country music acts of our lifetime, bring out Avril Lavigne, who was just 17 years old at the time she released “Sk8er Boi, at CMA Fest, was pretty damn cool.
The two also performed Miranda’s 2005 hit, “Kerosene” together. Watch ’em below.
