The “new era” of PRT continues…
Pecos & The Rooftops recently released their latest single, “Last Thing I Remember,” and the music video is officially out now.
Once again directed by Wales Toney, who’s also responsible for “Last Night’s Lashes” and the video for the bands massive hit “This Damn Song,” the music video depicts a couple in a toxic (and potentially abusive) relationship, with the main focus seemingly put on the guy.
Last Thing I Remember was written by frontman Pecos Hurley, as well as Andrew Baylis and Michael Whitworth, and is the second single since the band signed with Warner Records back in January.
In late February, Pecos Hurley sat down with Country Chord for an Instagram live interview to discuss their first release with Warner, titled “5AM,” and if I’m being honest, I’m probably responsible for at a least a couple thousand streams on Apple Music.
Late of last year, Pecos and the boys took to Instagram to announce the release of their song “Hurt No More” with a caption that read ““October 28.. a new era of PRT begins.” Aside from the record deal, their sound has also changed a bit. But make no mistake, the band, who is still young in their career, stays true to their rockin’ (and sometimes bluesy) sound. Their self-titled, debut album will be out everywhere on June 23rd.
