This oughta give you a good laugh.
High school football player, Noah Knigga, has recently been trending in the headlines and going absolutely viral on social media on account of those trying to figure out how to pronounce the athlete’s last name.
While the sports world is not something we here at the Chord tend to cover, I’m personally a huge Commanders fan who had the privilege of watching RG3 take the Redskins on a 7-game winning streak to win the NFC East title and secure a wildcard playoff berth in 2012. On top of that, I’m a huge Dave Chappelle fan, and this video just screamed 2003 Chappelle’s Show.
In a recent interview with the 2012 rookie of the year, Noah and his family sat down for an interesting interview that is sure to instigate a few laughs.
To kick things off, RG3 asked the family if they had ever been to Paris, referring to the 2011 JAY-Z and Kanye West track, “N***** In Paris.”
The jokes didn’t stop there, as the former quarterback later suggested that Noah should sell t-shirts that read “Knigga please,” adding “I think it would be hilarious.”
For those wandering, we did in fact find out that the correct pronunciation of the family’s last name is actually “Kih-nay-guh,”
“I know for some people that might ruin the name, I don’t think it ruins it at all.”

On top of football, Knigga also plays basketball at Lawrenceburg High School in Indiana. He’s an All-State outside linebacker, as well as a tight end who recorded over 200 tackles, including 42 tackles for loss and 14 sacks, and at the TE position, hauled in 20 receptions while also running for 224 yards in three seasons.
