From her roots to her boots and, of course, her old blue jeans, Ella Langley is embracing her wildflower spirit with a new partnership with American Eagle.
Both the clothing company and Langley took to social media earlier today to announce the collaboration, which features “the award-winning country music star in her favorite AE looks.” In the true spirit of her upcoming album, Dandelion, this stripped-down collection of pieces, which can be found on the website under “Ella Langley’s Faves,” includes all the basics.
With a very denim-heavy focus, fringe, cowgirl hats, flare jeans, and simple white tees, AE could not have picked a better spokesperson to spearhead this country girl spring campaign. In her announcement post with the tagline caption, “Surrounded by denim and dandelions with @americaneagle,” Langley shared a video narrating the inspiration behind this pairing.
“When I started out playing gigs, I was 18. There wasn’t a day, time, I don’t remember where this wasn’t the plan. Country music is storytelling, and then you do it with a little bit of twang.” Obviously coinciding with the dandelion-heavy theme of her upcoming album, set to release on April 10th, the visuals feature Langley modeling alongside the weed flowers.
Two other clips from American Eagles instagram feature their new “denim darling” twirling in her jeans with short, potentially unreleased audio clips from the album, which features 18 tracks, including already released chart topper, “Choosin’ Texas” and “Dandelion.” Langley’s third single, “Be Her,” is also dropping this Friday, February 13.
As the new spokesperson for AE denim, Langley seems to be replacing the previous campaign model and actress, Sydney Sweeney, who caught a lot of heat for her ads with the brand. The July 2025 advertisement, “Sydney Sweeney Has Great Jeans,” has seemingly been haunting both the actress and the brand, given its controversial message that was seen as racially charged.
Given Langley’s rapid rise to stardom over this past year and her growing status as a household favorite in country music (and beyond), this pivot in partnerships amidst her transition into a more flouncy sophomore album feels like a refreshing new chapter for both American Eagle and Langley. Up until now, the 26-year-old singer-songwriter has been known for her dark, witchy aesthetic filled with black lace, dark cheetah prints, and, of course, signature bangs. It’ll be interesting to see how this new album’s aesthetics and her AE style translate to the stage at her upcoming Dandelion tour, set to begin May 7 in Toledo, Ohio.
