Cat’s out of the bag (or, well..out in the rain.)
Today, Turnpike Troubadours have announced their long-awaited and highly anticipated new album, “A Cat In The Rain,” produced by Shooter Jennings, will officially be released on August 25th.
The band also announced their song, “Mean Old Sun,” that they’ve been teasing for a couple weeks, and somehow accidentally ended up on touchtones jukebox systems before being taken down, will be out THIS Friday, May 5th, along with a music video, as well.
Turnpike’s last album, A Long Way From Your Heart, came out 6 six years ago, right before the band took their hiatus in May of 2019. While we’re all waiting for Ragweed to make a comeback, we’ll take a Turnpike reunion AND a new album with a healthy and sober Evan Felker, any day.
