Let the speculation begin…
After taking a break and going on a “hiatus” in May of 2019, the Turnpike Troubadours broke the Internet last year with the news that they were finally getting back together.
Since then, fans have been expecting a new album and this weekend, a never-before heard song from the band, “Mean Old Sun,” randomly appeared on the TouchTunes jukebox system that can probably be found in most of your local bars and favorite restaurants.
It was clearly a screw up on TouchTunes’ end and the song has since been taken down. Buttttttt, Turnpike just posted a photo to their Instagram that reveals they have a “Special Announcement Coming This Week.”
While most of the fans are ignoring that part, since it was casually thrown into a post about one of their show dates being changed, it begs the question, “Is the accidentally-leaked song being dropped soon?”
