Another taste of their upcoming album.
This morning, Turnpike Troubadours took to social media to announce they are releasing their third single, “Brought Me,” from their upcoming album, “A Cat In The Rain,” this Friday, August 4th.
The first single, “Mean Old Sun,” which officially marked the band’s return after a six year hiatus, was accidentally leaked on TouchTunes back in April and officially released on May 5th.
Turnpike’s second single, “Chipping Mill,” ramped up even more excitement for the new record and in typical Evan Felker fashion, he likens getting his heart broken to getting it thrown into the titular chipping mill in the first and final verse.
A Cat in the Rain will be Turnpike Troubadours’ first record since A Long Way from Your Heart in 2017. And if for some odd reason you’ve forgotten, the album drops in just three weeks on August 25th.
Until then, be sure to listen to their third (and presumably final) teaser of the upcoming album when Brought Me drops this Friday.
