Rackin’ em up.
Today, Zach Bryan officially received 12 new gold/platinum certifications from the Recording Industry Association of America.
The RIAA gives out certifications to artists based on the number of albums and singles units sold through retail and other ancillary markets. Based on the massive popularity Zach Bryan has garnered over the past few years, along with the huge streaming numbers from his recent self-titled album and 5-track EP, “Boys Of Faith,” it’s really not a shock at this point to see Bryan continuing to earn these sorts of accolades from previous releases.
When an artist receives a gold certification, it means the single or album has sold at least 500,000 units since its release, while a platinum cert means it has sold at least 1 million.
Something In The Orange was officially certified 6x platinum, Heading South reached 2x platinum status, while “Burn, Burn, Burn”, “From Austin,” “Oklahoma Smokeshow” and “Sun Too Me” were all certified platinum.
ZB’s songs to reach gold status include:
- Dawns
- Highway Boys
- Crooked Teeth
- November Air
- Heavy Eyes
- Dawns
Zach Bryan also recently shared a teaser of a brand new song to his Instagram account last week, proving he is still writing and crankin’ out new music, despite multiple release within the last two months. (‘Cause ya know, what else would you expect from Zach). Listen to it here.
