Seems fitting.
According to streaming numbers, the most popular song off of Zach Bryan’s latest self-titled album is his duet with Kacey Musgraves, “I Remember Everything.”
According to Country music chart insider, Chris Owen, the song has officially been sent to radio as the next single from Zach, impacting immediately.
The song, written by both Zach and Kacey, debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Hot 100, all-genre chart, the first time either artist has had a song reach the top spot there, and has quickly already become one of the most popular songs of the year.
The Hot 100‘s chart rankings are based on sales (physical and digital), online streaming, and radio play in the U.S. With that said, country music has been absolutely dominating this year, as I Remember Everything becomes the fifth country song to reach #1 on the all-genre chart this year alone.
This also comes just after the news that Zach Bryan had officially earned his first ever #1 album on the Billboard 200, and remains there for a second week in a row. Bryan took to Twitter to thank his fans:
I highly doubt this single becomes as big as Something In The Orange, but Zach has admitted multiple times on social media that he doesn’t care about creating hits. He simply makes the music he enjoys creating.
