NBC has a stacked fall lineup.
The popular television network recently revealed premier dates, as well as time slots, for new/returning shows set to kick off this fall. Among the likes of Law & Order: SVU, the Chicago Series, The Voice and more, Reba’s brand new sitcom, “Happy’s Place” will officially premier on October 18th at 8p.m. ET, followed by the return of Lopez Vs. Lopez.
Although fans were hoping for a reboot of Reba’s beloved original sitcom (also titled ‘Reba’), this new series will reunite Melissa Peterman (who played Barbra Jean alongside McEntire from 2001 to 2007), with her now-sister, Bobbie.
Bobbie (played by Reba), “inherits her father’s restaurant and is less than thrilled to discover that she has a new business partner in the half-sister she never knew she had.”
While I have a strong feeling Happy’s Place won’t be nearly as good as the original Reba series we all grew up watching with our family, TV is always better with the country superstar making us laugh on screen. Check out more information about the forthcoming sitcom here:
