Coming soon.
After a year that included a record-breaking show in the U.K., his second straight Billboard Song of the Summer and a slew of sold-out stadium shows, Morgan Wallen has his eyes set on another new venture: a music festival.
Minutes ago, Wallen took to Instagram to announce his very own festival titled Sand In My Boots Fest. In the post, he said, “Me and my team have been working on this for a while, and we’re gonna be heading south to the beaches. And I’m bringing some of my friends with me.”
Obviously, the festival is named after Wallen’s smash hit, “Sand In My Boots,” which is currently certified double platinum and boasts over 413 million streams on Spotify alone.
Sand In My Boots Fest will be held in Gulf Shores, Alabama, running from May 16-18, 2025, and will be produced with AEG Presents (producers of Stagecoach) as well as the Hangout Festival, which holds their event at the same location.
Stacy Vee, executive vice president of Goldenvoice and Producer of Stagecoach, said, “Creating a Festival with Morgan has been a dream come true … and some of the most fun I have ever had booking a show! I can’t wait for fans to come and experience one of the most eclectic and electric lineups and on-site experiences the world has ever seen.”
Reeves Price, AEG Presents and Hangout Festival Producer, also added, “The opportunity to bring Morgan’s world to life on the beach in Gulf Shores is something very special. The fact that it coincides with the 15th anniversary of the Hangout Festival only makes it more special. We can’t wait to see everyone back on the beach in May.”
Sand In My Boots Fest marks the second festival spearheaded by Wallen that will be held in 2025 with his Field & Stream Music Festival, co-led by Eric Church, being moved from its original October 4-6, 2024 slate to October 3-5, 2025 due to Hurricane Helene.
The lineup has yet to be announced; however, you can stay updated on the lineup announcement, pass details and hotel packages on the festival’s official website.
