Wasting no time this year.
After releasing his fourth and final single of 2024 on New Years day, Morgan Wallen got back to work and announced a new album, released the title track for said album this past Friday, oh…and, of course, announced a tour in support of it featuring some of country’s biggest acts in Koe Wetzel, Brooks & Dunn, Miranda Lambert and more.
While the album is currently available for presale on Vinyl, we still don’t know what the cover will look like or the exact release date. But from a recent photo shared to Morgan’s Instagram story earlier today, it looks like fans can expect a third-straight double album from the 31 year-old singer/songwriter.
Captioned with, “Chopping block,” the photo shows the back of Wallen’s head and what appears to be a board full of blurred out images making up the track-list for “I’m The Problem.” While his head covers what one can only assume is more song titles, we were able to definitively count 30, with over ten more to the far right, which I’d be willing to bet are the ones on the “chopping block.”
Despite not releasing an album in 2024, the “Whiskey Glasses” singer was crowned the fourth most streamed artist on Spotify. Couple that with the fact that he became the first artist ever to earn five #1s on Billboard’s Country Airplay chart in a calendar year, it’s hard to argue that Wallen won’t have even more success in 2025 with 30+ new songs.
