ANOTHER ONE (DJ Khaled voice).
Earlier in the week, Morgan Wallen hopped on X (formerly known as Twitter) for the first time in ages to respond to a fan asking about one of his upcoming songs, “What I Want.” The X user was hoping to receive confirmation that the track will be Morgan’s first ever female duet, and the 31 year-old singer/songwriter responded with “Indeed.”
Then Morgan teased another song from his upcoming album titled “Don’t We” when he announced his new mech collaboration with Mossy Oak on Instagram. And that if wasn’t enough, he also dropped a new live performance video for “Just In Case,” to YouTube yesterday as part of his new series, “The Shop Sessions.”
Fast forward to today and the “Whiskey Glasses” singer teased yet another new song to his Instagram story with the caption “Might put this one out next but gotta check with the other artist on it first.”
The song, seemingly titled “I Ain’t Coming Back,” is about leaving his reputation behind (as well as the girl who broke his heart) and ditching his hometown for a fresh start. Interestingly enough, he ends the chorus with “there’s a lot of reasons I ain’t Jesus but the main one is that I aint coming back.”
