Carrie Underwood surprised fans Thursday, announcing a new single was on the way—and out the next day. “Had some fun in the studio recently and for my birthday I wanted to share my new song “Out Of That Truck” with all of you!” she wrote in an Instagram post Thursday night. Carrie gave her followers a glimpse of the song along with a brief commentary, where she described the track as “guitar-heavy,” and explained she had wanted it to be “fun” and “have some energy.” Between scoring nominations for two CMT Awards (Video of the Year with “Hate My Heart”…

Dylan Marlowe, named one of Spotify’s “2023 Hot Country Artists to Watch” is taking country music by storm. Earlier tonight, the “Record High” singer posted unreleased song “Empty Shotgun (Mr. Mechanic)” on TikTok with “March 24 sound good?” as the caption and it’s seriously about time. Fans have been begging Marlowe to drop this one ever since he posted a 30-second teaser of the track last May. Even with all the hype, he’s kept the song pretty tightly locked down, and never posted more than a few seconds at a time. This news follows the announcement that he’ll be joining…
Another day, another record broken by Morgan Wallen. It took Morgan Wallen about half a day to start breaking records with his latest album “One Thing At A Time,” which became the most-streamed country album on Spotify in a single day by a male artist. After this weekend, more than half of the top 50 songs in the U.S. on Spotify belong to (you guessed it) Morgan Wallen. But it doesn’t stop there. “One Thing At A Time” has now broken the record for the biggest US streaming week for a country album. Morgan Wallen has officially knocked Taylor Swift…
Parker McCollum revealed on Twitter earlier tonight that his new song, “Speed,” officially comes out Friday. Parker’s been keeping fans waiting for this one since 2021, when he first played it on tour. After a one-word tweet seemingly hinting at the release of “Speed” in January 2022, it’s only fitting that he’s taken to Twitter again to share the news for real this time. “Speed” joins PM’s newest single “I Ain’t Going Nowhere” on the track list of his upcoming album “Never Enough” , coming out May 12th. Listen to it here:
SUCH a gamechanger for Corey Kent. Until about this time last year, Corey Kent had been busy making a name for himself as an independent artist and songwriter. With two albums already, he had also played a major role in writing hits like his own “Ain’t My Day” (recorded alongside Kolby Cooper) and the 2018 hit from William Clark Green, “Hit You Where It Hurts.” In March of 2022, he dropped the single “Wild as Her.” The song instantly locked down the #1 spot on Apple Music’s Country Chart, where it stayed for nearly two weeks. (Should’ve stayed longer, IMO.)…
With Morgan Wallen consuming every headline in country news this weekend, anything else has been easy to miss. Unfortunately, several other artists’ projects have been overlooked, and Tyler Braden’s “Neon Grave” is a perfect example. Tyler Braden flies pretty under the radar in Nashville, but he isn’t new to the game at all. He’s shared the stage with plenty of icons including Brooks & Dunn and Brantley Gilbert, who he opened for on tour back in 2021. His most recent release titled “Neon Grave” is a 6-song EP that came out Friday, and it’s so. Insanely. Good. I can’t say…
