Of course I’m writing about Chick-Fil-a on a Sunday…
Well, in a surprise turn of events, Chick-Fil-a has officially been dethroned as the No. 1 fast food chain in America. Not only did the christian chicken company fall off the top spot after nine straight years, it now comes in third place with voters, according to USA Today’s annual reader-ranked survey.
What’s even more surprising is whom took them over. Coming in at second place is none other than the colonel with his Kentucky Fried Chicken. Now look, I love me a good 10 piece bucket from time to time (when there’s no feathers sticking out of the breading), but let’s be real here…KFC is not known for quality, cleanliness or for great customer service (they even took their potato wedges away from us), so who in their right mind would ever vote this place higher than the establishment whose food is always fresh, hardly ever wrong, and can literally move a drive-thru of 40+ cars in less than ten minutes? #JusticeForChickFila
Now, coming in as the top dog is none other than California’s very own, Del Taco. And what’s even more intriguing about the American-style Mexican cuisine chain being voted No. 1 is that they are only located in 16 states, compared to Chick-Fil-A being located in 48 and KFC all 50.
The rest of the top ten list includes In-N-Out at No. 4, Hardee’s at No. 5, Captain D’s at No. 6, Taco Bell at No. 7, Popeyes at No. 8, Zaxyby’s at No. 9, and Arby’s at No. 10, just confirming that list is a bunch of bulls*t.
