Last night, Ed Sheeran took the stage at the ACM Awards to perform his latest single, “Life Goes On.” To everyones surprise, he brought out Luke Combs to officially turn his performance into a duet.
A couple hours after the award show ended, Ed Sheeran posted on Instagram that they also recorded a studio version and it’s now available anywhere you consume your music from.
I’ll be honest, while I think Ed Sheeran is incredibly talented, I had never heard this song in my life, prior to their performance on my television. With that said, Sheeran wrote the song by himself and you can’t go wrong with Ed and Luke’s vocals paired with an acoustic guitar. Might I add, Luke sounds AMAZING on it.
The fans have been craving a studio version of “Dive,” y’all, not this. We’ll 100% take it, though. Check out their live performance at the 58th ACM Awards, here:
