When Jimmy Buffett passed away on September 1, 2023, he left a lasting legacy on many in the country music world. From his collaborations with Zac Brown Band, Alan Jackson and Kenny Chesney to his influence on many of the beach country songs popular during the summer months, the Margaritaville singer has taken on an impactful role on many of today’s artists despite not being a traditional country singer.
Buffett’s social media team took to X (formerly Twitter) today to announce a tribute concert, Keep the Party Going: A Tribute to Jimmy Buffett, on April 11 in the Hollywood Bowl, located in Los Angeles, California.
The lineup includes country artists, Zac Brown, Kenny Chesney and Eric Church, along with legends such as Paul McCartney, Eagles and Jon Bon Jovi.
