Good news, football fans.
The NFL will host its first ever Black Friday game this year (finally) on Amazon Prime and it was just announced that Garth Brooks will be headlining the musical performance shortly after.
The game, which features Tua and the Miami Dolphins going head-to-head against Zach Wilson and the New York Jets, kicks off at 3pm EST, followed by the Garth Brooks Amazon Music Live special at 7pm.
The concert will be livestreamed from the grand opening of his new downtown Nashville bar, Friends in Low Places Bar & Honky-Tonk, where he’s sure to perform all of his classic hits, as well as some new tunes off his upcoming 14th studio album, Time Traveler, set to drop on November 7th.
The 7th of November falls on a Tuesday, which is not only typically unprecedented, but the album will also be featured in a new 7-disc box set and only sold exclusively at Bass Pro Shops.
The good news for Garth fans? All viewers will have free access to the Amazon Music Live concert, including viewers without an Amazon account/Prime membership.
Garth also recently announced he will be releasing a new single to country radio off the upcoming record titled, “Rodeo Man,” featuring the legendary Ronnie Dunn, the day before the album drops on Monday.
Even though, at this point, I’m starting to care less and less…just put your damn music on all streaming platforms already, Garth.
-Sincerely, everyone (maybe).
