Ella Langley has proven she’s not going anywhere with her smash success hit, “Choosin’ Texas” continuing to reign on the Billboard Hot 100 spot for its ninth week, along with its fellow dominator “Be Her” sitting at spot number two.
And let the record show that Langley is also standing her ground on her pure talent and rightful claim to the throne as country music’s current queen. The “Dandelion” singer recently kick-started her anticipated 2026 headlining tour, celebrating the release of her sophomore album, and with two shows now under her belt, it’s certainly living up to the hype.
Absolutely killing it during the tour’s opening night in Toledo, Ohio, with a brand new set of 18 songs throughout the show, Langley took to social media to post a pretty epic clip of her guitar player, Ben Flanders, absolutely shredding during the “Broken” outro while she sways beside him playing rhythm.
Sure enough, at least one comment had to stir the pot, calling out Langley underneath the TikTok clip for absolutely no reason at all, saying, “Ella isn’t even playing the guitar.” Of course, he also had to follow it up with another unnecessary comment, replying, “She’s not even strumming and it’s nearly impossible to play with nails that long. And she doesn’t have her hands on any chords.”
Poor Drew is probably kicking himself right now because sure enough, Langley stood up for herself, brutally replying, “How’s your mom’s basement?” And just when I thought I couldn’t love her anymore, this hilariously sassy clap back further proved her status.
The Alabama native and her shredding skills will return to the Dandelion Tour this Thursday, May 14, in Estero, Florida, joined by supporting acts Kameron Marlowe and Gabriella Rose as she continues out on the remaining 14 dates, wrapping up later in the summer on August 15 in Fort Worth.
