Well, this is interesting…
Over the last few years or so, Jason and wife, Brittany Aldean, have been very vocal about where they stand on political issues, and unless you’ve been living under a rock, you’d know they heavily supported Donald Trump in 2020, as well as in the upcoming election where it appears to be a Biden vs. Trump rematch.
Not only has Aldean been vocal about his support for the 45th president, the two have spent quite a bit of time together – most notably this past New Years eve, when Jason and his wife spent time with Donald and Melania at their Mar-a-Lago home in Palm Beach, Florida.
The former president also took to Truth Social and defended Aldean amidst the controversy surrounding his #1 hit, “Try That In A Small Town,” last July:
“Jason Aldean is a fantastic guy who just came out with a great new song. Support Jason all the way.”
And now, the 47 year-old country star recently revealed at one of his concerts that the Biden campaign asked to use his 2012 hit, “Fly Over States,” out on the trail four years ago and Aldean “politely” denied:
“I very politely said ‘f**k no,’ but if the guy that I want to get in asks for it, I’ll give it to him, okay?”
Looks like you may get to hear Fly Over States at a Trump rally soon. Check out the video clip from Aldean here:
