After more than a decade of successful festivals which included the likes of Zach Bryan, Megan Moroney, Willie Nelson and many more, the creators behind Chicago’s ACM Award-winning Windy City Smokeout recently announced their expansion to Texas in their brand-new Lone Star Smokeout music festival.
After being announced back in May, today, they took to Instagram to announce the full lineup:
Lone Star Smokeout will feature Jon Pardi, Cody Jinks and Midland as headliners. Hot up-and-comers, Dylan Gossett and Kashus Culpepper, will join the likes of Texas favorites, Randy Rogers Band as well as indie darlings, Kaitlin Butts and Wyatt Flores throughout the festival’s three-day run from May 2-4.
The festival will be held outside of AT&T Stadium, home of the Dallas Cowboys, in Arlington, much in the vein of Windy City Smokeout which has been held outside of the United Center since 2019.
Like Windy City Smokeout, Lone Star will also feature a plethora of different local and national barbeque chains serving food throughout the festival.
Packages include single and three-day general admission passes, the platinum package which includes VIP access, unlimited access to the festival’s barbeque dishes and pit access as well as the Sunday BBQ Brunch package which can be purchased in addition to a standard ticket.
Tickets go on sale this Friday, January 10 at 10 a.m. CST and can be purchased here.
