There’s no denying at this point that Kameron Marlowe is one of the most talented vocalists in all of country music. With one of the most powerful baritones in the genre, the 27-year-old singer has quickly flown up the ranks with hits such as “Giving You Up,” “Girl On Fire” and his duet with Ella Langley, “Strangers.”
Just days ago, Marlowe took to TikTok to tease a cover of Cam’s 2015 smash hit, “Burning House,” which has since gone viral, racking up over 1.6 million views and 165,000 likes. Marlowe also posted a second TikTok of the cover, which has received over 224,000 views and 30,000 likes.
This wasn’t the first time he teased the “Burning House” cover, however. Back in June, the “Sober as a Drunk” singer posted an acoustic cover of the track that had fans clamoring for an official release, and judging by his recent posts, it looks like we’re close to getting one very soon.
To say the cover sounds phenomenal would simply be an understatement. “Burning House” has remained one of the best and most underrated singles of the 2010s, and Marlowe’s powerhouse vocals add an extra layer of emotion and depth to the already moving song. We need an official release ASAP.
Marlowe is currently finishing up his Keepin’ The Lights On world tour. Upcoming dates include the following:
- 12/6 Charlotte, South Carolina
- 12/11 Amsterdam, Netherlands
- 12/13 Birmingham, England
- 12/15 Glasgow, Scotland
- 12/16 Manchester, England
- 12/17 London, England
- 12/19 Belfast, Ireland
