This one is GOOD.
Just moments ago, Luke Combs took to social media to share yet another teaser of a brand new song titled “Wish Upon A Whiskey” and fans are already begging for its release in the comments.
The 34 year-old singer/songwriter is currently overseas for a handful of concerts in New Zealand and Australia and after sharing a teaser of an unreleased song, “Pushin’ Up Daisies,” earlier in the week, Luke delivered again with a gut-wrenching live performance video from his recent show in Sydney.
“I gave up on a shooting star, it’d have to fall down way to far to fix this kind of feeling that I’m feelin’ / I tried the back pew of that church, read every chapter, every verse, but all my prayers they always hit the ceiling / So I do the only thing that don’t make me feel empty, pull that bottle out and wish upon a whiskey.”
Luke added in the caption that he’s been playing a new song in every city, and with Melbourne next up, it looks like it’s safe to say we might be getting one more teaser sometime next week. His last album, “Fathers & Sons,” was released back in June of last year, and while that may not sound like a long time ago, it’s coming up on eight months already. With that said, I’d also expect a new record from the “Hurricane” singer by the end of 2025.
