The Academy of Country Music Awards aired this past Thursday night and Morgan Wallen fans aren’t too happy.
Although the 31 year-old country star was nominated six times – including for Male Artist of the Year and Entertainer of the Year, he chose not to show up to the award show in Frisco, Texas, and it looks like he didn’t miss all that much.
After the two-hour event wrapped up, the biggest artist in country music (and one of the biggest artists in all of music), walked away with zero wins, leaving fans everywhere (especially in our comments section), downright infuriated.
During the live broadcast of the ACM’s on Amazon Prime Video, Morgan decided to seemingly throw a little shade at the award show, dropping a teaser of a brand new song, “Love Somebody,” to social media from whatever location he decided to spend his Thursday night at instead of attending “Country Music’s Party of the Year.”
Fans in Morgan’s comment section took notice, praising the Last Night singer for, well…not giving a f**k, with some even tagging the award show and calling them out directly.
