Looks like 2025 is gonna be another big year for Morgan Wallen.
This past Friday, the 31 year-old singer/songwriter released the highly-anticipated title track to his upcoming album, “I’m The Problem,” and although OG fans have criticized Wallen on social media for not keeping the final mix similar to the demo he teased earlier last year, the song has been met with positive reactions overall.
Love it or hate it, “I’m The Problem” debuted at #1 on U.S. Spotify with 2.53 million streams in its first day. It’s also currently the fifth biggest song debut of the year on Spotify global with 3.6 million streams, behind Travis Scott and The Weeknd, just to name a few.
But what’s really impressive (even though it shouldn’t come as a shock at this point), is that “I’m The Problem” currently boasts 9.9 million streams on Spotify alone in just its first five days since release, making it one of his most streamed songs on the music platform in that time span to date.
On top of the new single, Morgan announced his fourth studio album will be dropping in 2025. And, of course… he also announced a tour in support of it featuring some of country’s biggest acts in Koe Wetzel, Brooks & Dunn, Miranda Lambert and more.
While the album is currently available for presale on Vinyl, we still don’t know what the cover will look like or the exact release date. But from a recent photo shared to Morgan’s Instagram this past Saturday, it looks like fans can expect a third-straight double album from the “Whiskey Glasses” singer.
Despite not releasing a record in 2024, Wallen was crowned the fourth most streamed artist on Spotify. Couple that with the fact that he became the first artist ever to earn five #1s on Billboard’s Country Airplay chart in a calendar year, it’s hard to argue that Wallen won’t have even more success in 2025 with 30+ new songs.
And just in case you’ve been living under a rock and haven’t been one of the ten million streams thus far, you can listen here:
