The wait is finally over.
Less than a day after making an appearance at the iconic Bluebird Cafe in Nashville, Tennessee with the likes of Lainey Wilson and ERNEST, Post Malone has finally announced the title and release date for his highly-anticipated country album titled F-1 Trillion which is out August 16.
In an Instagram post just minutes ago, Post shared an image with the caption, “Sup motherf*ckas…F-1 Trillion August 16th.”
While he hasn’t released a track or features list, what we do know is that it’s going to cover a lot of ground in terms of country sounds/styles and most likely contain a lot of features. Between the reigning #1 on the Billboard Hot 100, “I Had Some Help” with Morgan Wallen, the brand new collaboration with Blake Shelton coming out this Friday, “Pour Me A Drink,” the song he performed at the ACM Awards seemingly titled, “Never Love You Again” and the recently teased song for Father’s Day, it’s clear that Post doesn’t care about crossing genre lines.
It’s been well-documented that he likes to explore a multitude of different sounds within albums such as Hollywood’s Bleeding where he delivered traditional rap, pop, alternative and even metal tracks on the album. I wouldn’t expect anything less from F-1 Trillion.
