It’s coming soon, I can feel it.
Back in late December of last year, Morgan Wallen shared a teaser of an unreleased song with the caption, “I Had Some help,” that he wrote with Post Malone, ERNEST and Charlie Handsome, to his Instagram account. He later deleted the reel the next morning after fans expressed their distaste for the track in the comments, professedly a first for the 30 year-old country star.
Fast forward to last month, and we received another teaser of the track from Post himself, implying that it will be featured on his upcoming country record (whenever he decides to drop it) rather than Morgan Wallen’s.
Although the production is very similar to the original demo that Morgan shared last year, the key difference in this version is it features real drums during the chorus instead of the computerized tracks we originally heard from Morgan’s Instagram, which is a nice touch. Even Post captioned the reel with “let’s go with the real mix this time @morganwallen.”
And while still no release date has been made public, Post Malone shared another new teaser clip of him in the studio earlier this evening, sportin’ a camo hat while absolutely rockin’ out to the chorus.
Whether you like the sound of their collaboration or not, I’m tellin’ ya…it’s gonna be the most streamed song of 2024 when it finally drops. Check out Malone’s video here:
