Good news for Riley Green fans.
Today the 35 year-old singer/songwriter announced he’s officially dropping a brand new EP titled, “Way Out Here,” on April 12th.
The new 7-song EP will feature previously released tracks such as his current single, “Damn Good Day to Leave,” and the title track, a cover of Josh Thompson’s 2010 “Way Out Here,” as well as “Jesus Saves,” a song Riley has been teasing on tour for quite some time, and a reimagined cover of Bruce Springsteen’s “Atlantic City,.”
Riley has recently been teasing some of the new tracks on his headlining “Ain’t My Last Rodeo” tour, and admits he’s been wanting to get them to out to his fans, asap:
“We’ve been playing these new songs on the road and wanted to get them to the fans soon as possible. I’m always working on new music and have more coming throughout the year.”
Way Out Here is set to be released on Friday, April 12th, the same day Riley kicks off his inaugural two-day beachfront music festival, Duckman Jam, featuring his current tour openers, Ella Langley and Tracy Lawrence, as well as Jake Worthington and more, at the Flora-Bama.
