Fresh off the announcement of his brand new bar in Nashville, Riley Green’s Duck Blind, and his upcoming album, Don’t Mind If I Do, Riley Green is back with even more new content for fans with the release of a three-song Apple Music Nashville Session.
Green took to Instagram hours ago in a joined post with Apple Music to announce the surprise release of the EP.
The three-song Session features a cover of Tim McGraw’s 2001 #1 hit, “Cowboy In Me,” which reached a new audience due to its appearance on Yellowstone in 2021. Reimaginings of Green’s most popular releases of the year, “Worst Way” and “Jesus Saves,” which Thomas Rhett described as the “best song of the year,” also appear on the project.
“Not that my opinion really matters, but I think Riley Green’s song ‘Jesus Saves’ is the best song of the year.”

An official release of Green’s cover of McGraw’s “Cowboy In Me” has been a long time in the making for fans of the “I Wish Grandpas Never Died” singer given that he first debuted the cover live all the way back in 2021 before posting an acoustic performance of the track later in the year.
All three songs are exclusively streaming on Apple Music which can be listened to here.
