Keepin’ ’em comin’.
Just days after recently paying tribute to Lynyrd Skynyrd on the CMT Awards after the death of guitar player and last original member, Gary Rossington, Cody Johnson is back with another cover of the bands 1974 hit, “The Ballad Of Curtis Loew.”
Covering songs and absolutely blowing them out of the park is nothing new for Cody Johnson. Just refer back to his “You Look So Good In Love” cover from George Strait, as well as the Dixie Chicks’ “Travelin’ Soldier” cover video that has racked up more than 16 million views on Youtube alone.
The Texas artist is one of the best in Country music today and Lynyrd Skynyrd will live on forever as the greatest southern rock band of all time. No matter what anyone tells ya.
Watch all three covers, below.
