Taking her most recent single to the backyard pines, Ella Langley just released a stripped down version of “Loving Life Again.”
The newly titled Back Home Sessions just dropped on YouTube, showcasing Langley’s raw vocals alongside her acoustic band, producing some of the most majestic instrumentals in the wilderness. Bathed in sunlight, the 26-year-old shines in a patchwork bohemian sundress backed by none other than her quarterhorses grazing in the field.
This gorgeous rendition comes a week after the initial drop of her fourth and final single before Dandelion’s full release on April 10. As the first installment of what will hopefully expand into a much bigger series, the setting perfectly encapsulates the album’s “back-home” aesthetic as well as beautifully capturing the springtime frolicking nature of the song as well.
Even after achieving the impressive feat of topping the Billboard Hot 100 for a fourth non-consecutive week with her hit “Choosin’ Texas,” Langley remains grounded in her roots. Embracing the “girl-next-door” charm fans admire, not even surpassing a superstar like Taylor Swift with this career milestone, can take the country out of her.
Time will tell if Langley chooses to bring more of the remaining 14 unreleased tracks off of Dandelion to life in this intimate manner, with the album now just two weeks away. Langley will also bring her insanely mesmerizing vocals to the stage in a few weeks for her coinciding 2026 summer tour, kickstarting on May 7 in Toledo, OH.
