The video that just keeps on giving…

Unless you’ve been living under a rock the last couple of weeks, you have surely seen the viral video of Haliey Welch, aka the “Hawk Tuah girl,” on your TikTok or Instagram or Facebook or literally any social media platform you choose to spend your time scrolling on.

And in case you somehow haven’t seen the clip, TikTok creators, Tim & Dee TV, walk up to Welch and her friend on the streets of Nashville and ask her, “What’s one move in bed that makes a man go crazy every time?” Welch then responded with the quote that has taken the internet by storm, “You gotta give ’em that ‘hawk tuah’ and spit on that thang.”

And just last Saturday night, Haliey finally made her first public appearance when she joined Zach Bryan during his performance of “Revival” at Nissan Stadium in Nashville.

But the night before that, HARDY took his headlining Quit!! Tour to Bristow, Virginia where he performed for a packed house at Jiffy Lube Live, and decided to join in on the fun himself, changing a portion of the lyrics to his 2020 song, “Boots,” to include the viral phrase that’s taken over the internet the last three weeks.

The original lyrics read; “I woke up in my boots this morning, ’cause I went out and got drunk last night.“

And of course, HARDY changed ’em to; “I woke up in my boots this morning, ’cause I went out and got hawk tuah last night.”

While a lot of people are growing tired of the infamous video consuming their social media feeds, Ms. Welch is just getting started. She recently signed an exclusive deal with The Penthouse, an independent label that specializes in A&R and production and NOT what you were probably first thinking of.

While HARDY is getting ready to wrap up his 2024 QUIT!! Tour, you can still catch him at the Riverbend Music Center in Cincinnati, Ohio on July 25th and at the Credit Union 1 Amphitheatre in Tinley Park, Illinois on July 27th. Kip Moore and Travis Denning will serve as support at both shows.

Watch the video of HARDY quoting “Hawk Tuah” live from Bristow, Virginia here:
