At this point, everyone knows that HARDY and Morgan Wallen are one of the most prolific duos in country music. From co-writing hits such as “Tennesee Fan,” “More Than My Hometown” and “Livin’ The Dream” to collaborating on songs like “In The Bible,” “red” and “He Went to Jared,” the pair are seemingly inseparable.
With that being said, however, there’s one line that HARDY will not let Wallen cross, and that line is dating his sister.
In an interview with Aly Mac of Michigan’s country radio station, B-93.7, she asked the “TRUCK BED” singer the iconic question, “Who in country music would you not allow to date your sister?” HARDY, in his typical carefree fashion, began laughing at the question before quickly responding, “Morgan Wallen. He’d only break her heart man”
Later in the interview, HARDY also touched on his songwriting retreats with the likes of Wallen and fellow collaborator, ENREST. He noted how Wallen typically plans the retreats when they are free, typically writing in a remote cabin.
“I think Morgan planned that [the writing retreat] which is amazing. Me, Morgan, ENREST and a guy named Charlie used to write all the time, and we’re all so busy, especially ERNEST, Morgan and I. And it’s hard to get us in one place at one time… Morgan hooked the whole thing up; he did a great job. And we went out and wrote eight songs in three days or something.”
