Back in November of last year, Alan Jackson was presented with the Willie Nelson Lifetime Achievement Award at the 56th CMA Awards.
Before accepting the award, Lainey Wilson, Dierks Bentley, Carrie Underwood and Jon Pardi all shared the stage together to pay tribute to Alan by performing some of his biggest hits.
While it wasn’t a full performance, Jon Pardi absolutely killed my favorite AJ song, “Drive” and the audience seemed to be into the entire thing.
Speaking of the two, Jon Pardi was also recently surprised by Alan while performing at Stagecoach to invite him to become the newest member of the Opry:
“I get the honor to invite you, in front of all your Stagecoach friends out there, to be the first native of California to become an official member of the Grand Ole Opry.”
Check out the clip of “Drive,” as well as the entire performance below.
