Back in September, Morgan Wallen broke the record for attendance at Neyland Stadium with a staggering 156,161 concert-goers across the two-night run. The record was previously held for 40 years by none other than the Jackson 5 with 148,407 people across their three shows in August of 1984.
Wallen truly brought out all the stops during his record-breaking two nights in Neyland, performing with Miranda Lambert, Eric Church, Darius Rucker, HARDY and ERNEST. Along with the performances, the “Last Night” singer also did his famous walkout with the 2024 National Champion Tennessee Volunteers baseball team and their coach Tony Vitello on night one as well as 5x NFL MVP and Tennesee alum, Peyton Manning, on night two.
If you weren’t able to see the record-breaking show, Wallen took to YouTube to share a live performance of his brand-new single, “Love Somebody,” which already has 13 million streams on Spotify alone and is seeking to dethrone Shaboozey’s 19-week #1 run with “A Bar Song (Tipsy)” on Billboard’s Hot Country Songs chart.
The production value of the live performance is truly off-the-charts, complete with drone shots of the stadium and the crowd as well as incredible wide shots of Wallen on stage showcasing the massive size of the sold-out venue.
Though it doesn’t replace getting to see the hottest act in the genre live, it comes pretty damn close.
