Last night, Riley Green took to Instagram to share a minute and a half clip of a new song he wrote, “Raised Up Right.”
The “I Wish Grandpas Never Died” singer, who is also expected to team up with Luke Combs to release a new version of his iconic song, “Different ‘Round Here,” next month, is long over-due for another album and I’d like to think an announcement should be coming at any moment now.
Along with the teaser clip of the new song, Riley writes…
Gettin to spend a little time with the family over Easter Weekend had me thinking about this song.
Here’s a little bit of one I wrote called ‘Raised Up Right’ hope y’all like it.
Just like his moms hands in church, his dad’s beer can after work and that flag every morning, Riley reflects on how he was “raised up.” This may be simple to a lot of folks, but the chorus may be some of his best writing to date. Check it out below, as well as his most recent collaboration with Justin Moore.
